When Gould Evans was selected by Solid Rock for The Rock teen center, an exciting synergy occurred between our architects, interior designers, and graphic designers. Everyone was energized to be involved in what is essentially a new project type, or at least one with a unique combination of users. We were also extremely gratified to be able to contribute to the under-served segment of our community. And the chance to work alongside a rock icon like Alice Cooper added to the excitement.
From an architect's perspective, working on The Rock is a remarkable project opportunity. It offers a unique program mix, combining the technology of a recording studio / stage venue with the design-rich potential of a recreation center. It allows our firm to combine the talents of our architects with our interior designers and graphic designers, to offer The Rock and the community a thoroughly integrated building design.
Gould Evans is also providing a range of graphic design services for Solid Rock. Beyond the building renderings we have provided for fundraising, our graphic designers have had the opportunity to create multiple animations and videos for "Christmas Pudding," the annual concert led by Alice Cooper to fundraise for the building.
We are honored to have been chosen by the Solid Rock for this project, and are excited for the potential it offers to communities both locally and across the country. Gould Evans continually seeks out opportunities to give back to our community by working on projects that help families and children, and particularly with cutting-edge organizations like the Solid Rock. We are thrilled to be part of the Solid rock team.
